I do. And a wheel, shelves of glazes, and a big table with a place saved for you. Everyone starts with the two-session course: £60, everything included. After that, keep coming for as long as you like.

Clay Club
Everyone starts with the two-session course
It's how you get to know the clay, the studio, me, and the people round the table. You'll make a glowing tea light house while you find your way around.
Make it
You cut the pieces round a template, so nobody is left staring at a lump of clay. The windows, the door and the roof are your own design. Have a go on the wheel while you're here.
Glaze it
Your house goes into the kiln for its first firing. In session two it comes back ready to glaze and decorate, then it goes in again for its final firing.
Take it home
I'll message you the moment it's out of the kiln, and you come and collect it. After that, what you make next is entirely up to you.
Pick your dates
Two 3-hour sessions, normally a week apart. £60 for both, everything included. Book with a £10 deposit and pay the rest on your first session. Tap a time to book it.

Once you've done the course, Clay Club carries on every Wednesday and Thursday. Buy sessions when you want them. No contracts, and nothing monthly.

Small groups, a big table, and nothing to live up to. Six places a session. Come with a friend or on your own. Most people who finish the course keep coming back, so there's usually a familiar face or two.

A birthday, a hen do, or friends or colleagues who fancy trying something together? The Atelier can be yours on a day that suits you, for up to 8 people.
If it's your group's first time, you'll start with the two-session course, just like everyone who joins Clay Club. For groups of 5 or more, get in touch with the dates you have in mind and I’ll put together a group price for you.

I'm Jacqui
The Atelier is my craft cabin in North Anston, on the edge of Sheffield. It already has everything the hobby needs: two kilns, Bertha and Herbert, a wheel, shelves of glazes and a big table.
Most people who'd love to try pottery never do, because a kiln can cost more than a holiday. So I opened the door. Clay Club is the part of the week I most look forward to.
